Niño es uno de esos beatmakers nacidos al calor del Hip Hop, y que sin ningún tipo de complejos va añadiendo sonidos a su paleta. La vida es demasiado bella y extensa como para mirar sólo a un punto. ¿Dogmas y endogamia? Cierra la muralla.
En 3D nos encontramos al Niño más excesivo desde que comenzara con esto de los beats. Excesivo en canciones cortas, metiéndolo todo, apabullando, creando caos, controlándolo y descontrolándose a base de sintes al galope y baterías a trompicones, como empujando una puerta que se resiste, empujando, abriéndola un poco, se vuelve a cerrar y así hasta que ceda, como Chiquito de la Calzada entrando en el escenario.
Aquí está Niño con sus tres cortes, pequeñas películas sin imágenes que te encuadran en parajes llenos de volúmenes y rincones. Como en Hollywood, no necesita meterte el 3D con calzador con post producciones a la carrera y extra de patilla. Aquí te lo flipas sin gafas y sólo con tus oidos. Cuestión de tener las coordenadas... y los trucos.
Y por si esto no fuera suficiente, a su aventura se le suman dos aliados de etiqueta negra al galope de las conexiones vitales. Mwëslee (desde Vigo) y Coco Bryce (desde la holandesa ciudad de Breda). Mweslee reinventa el soul entrecortado, convulso y sintético de “Y” en un particular homenaje al 2step, lleno de luz y brillo, y el hiperactivo Coco Bryce carga las tintas al exceso y convierte la efervescencia espasmódica p-funk de “Z” en un misil cargadísimo de anchura por todos los lados.
Niño is the kind of beatmaker who grew under the influence of Hip Hop, and without any kind of complex he adds new rhythms to his palette. Life is too beautiful and wide to focus on one point. Dogmas and endogamy? Not his cup of tea.
In 3D we discover the most excessive Niño since he began playing with beats. Excessive in short songs, putting everything inside, overwhelming, creating chaos, controlling it and losing control with rampant synths and staggering drums, like he was pushing a door thatís stuck, pushing it, opening it a little bit, but the door is closed again and he keeps on pushing until it gives way.
Here is Niño with his three tracks, short films with no images that take you to places full of shapes and corners. He doesnít need to use Hollywood-made 3D, artificial and with cheap post production. Here you will freak out, and you will only need your ears. Itís a matter of knowing your coordinates... and the tricks..
And on top of that, two extraordinary allies join this adventure sharing vital connections: Mwëslee (Kindred Spirits / All City) and Coco Bryce (Myor / Harmönia). Mwëslee reinvents a crooked soul, tumultuous and synthetic on “Y”, his particular tribute to 2step, full of light and shine; and hyperactive Coco Bryce loses himself in excess and turns the spasmodic p-funk effervescence of “Z” in a cruise missile full of fat rhythms.
